As part of its entry level scheme, Mayer Brown Ltd, a leading transport planning consultancy, is seeking a person with strong numeracy, IT and report writing skills to work as a Transport Analyst.
The Company is active on a wide range of development projects, varying from small residential projects to strategic housing schemes in excess of 3,000 units in Chelmsford and a variety of mixed use developments. We also undertake a significant amount of work for one of the major discount food retailers. The successful applicant will therefore have exposure to a variety of work.
The candidate will train as a transport analyst at the company’s Bristol office but will also be undertaking work for its London team. They will work with mentors within the company to develop their skills to become responsible for undertaking analysis using transport modelling programmes (e.g. Junctions and LinSig) and providing inputs to reports such as Transport Assessments and Travel Plans.
Previous transport planning experience is not necessary, although a relevant degree would be beneficial. Mayer Brown encourages and assists its staff to achieve Professional Qualifications.

The closing date for applications for this round of selection is Friday 15th March 2024, with interviews being undertaken initially online.
Details of the interviewing process will be provided to the successful candidate. There may be opportunity for some flexibility, e.g. working from home on occasion, but in order to develop their skills, the successful candidate will be primarily based in the Bristol office and may be required to attend other Mayer Brown offices for training.
