The project consisted of creating a new station building and interchange together with a mixed use development consisting of residential units, retail units and a 64 bedroom hotel.
Our team prepared the Transport Submissions to support the planning application. We also advised on passenger foot-flow within the station, to confirm the size of the concourse and the interchange facilities.
The Station has been constructed and is open to the public. Travel Plan monitoring has been undertaken and that has shown that the movements to and from the development are comfortably within the forecasts prepared by Mayer Brown.
