Global Positioning 

Surveys can be produced on a local arbitrary grid, we can link into control provided by others or by utilising the latest GPS technology we can tie surveys in to the National OSGB36 network.

If required surveys can be triangulated and from this a 3D contoured model produced. Sections can then be viewed for specific areas of interest.

Topographical Surveys

Mayer Brown uses the latest Leica 1200 series SmartStation instruments, utilising Smartnet real-time positioning technology to produce accurate surveys with maximum efficiency.

Topographic surveys can be output in a number of industry standard formats, which are mainly AutoCAD and Moss MX. Our software also outputs numerous other formats should the client require.

Volumetric Calculations

Our software is capable of manipulating huge amounts of 3D spatial data quickly and accurately into formats that are useful to architects, engineers and other design disciplines. Data can be collected in the field and a digital terrain model (DTM) is created from this data.

By generating surfaces within the DTM volumetric information is obtained and, from this, quantities can be calculated and, if required, cut and fill quantities can be worked out.

Setting Out

Accurate setting out requires precision equipment and skill, integrity and experience from the operator.
