To design and implement a Home Zone in the Wardleworth area of Rochdale taking into full account local needs and interests.
Mayer Brown’s Role:
Leading presentation at a half-day seminar looking at the concept and practical implications of developing, designing and implementing Home Zones at the outset of the participation process. Provision of expert advice throughout the design, participation and implementation of a Home Zone in Rochdale.
The Home Zone was combined with refurbishment of the house frontages and the Nursery and Women’s Mosque on South Street. The scheme is complete and looks very good.
