Scheme Objectives:

The change of use of South Western House from office accommodation to a 72 bedroom hotel with a restaurant / bar and conference facilities.

Mayer Brown’s Role:

Mayer Brown carried out a Transport Assessment to consider the effect the change of use from office to hotel accommodation would have on the local highway network. South Western House is situated near the popular tourist centre of Bournemouth and the report considered pedestrian movements, road safety issues and the effects of existing and proposed TRO’s in the study area.
 

The TA also considered all sustainable transport requirements for the proposed development together with travel planning issues for both guests and staff.
