This site lies on the western side of High Wycombe adjacent to the A40 Oxford Road. This development consists of a foodstore occupying a gross floor area of 8230 sq m, plus two smaller retail units of 745 sq m. The Dovecot Road multi story car park redevelopment provides a total of 1173 spaces. The site also includes a petrol filling station and potential for future residential development.
Mayer Brown’s Role:
Mayer Brown advised on the Transport Planning and Highway aspects of the development and produced a Transport Assessment and Car Park Management Plan for the site. This included:
- The traffic impact of the development.
- The site accessibility and sustainability by various modes of transport.
- The car park management plan and revenue projections for the car park.
- Design of access roads, layout of car parks and pedestrian areas.
