Scheme Objectives:

Design proposals for conversion of over-dimensioned T-junction into cycle/pedestrian priority environment addressing the pedestrian desire lines associated with the London Eye, the LCN+ Route along Belvedere Road whilst fully respecting demands from coach operators, taxis and local residents and businesses.

Mayer Brown’s Role:

Fully reviewed the operation of the area and liaised with numerous local stakeholders and their consultants (including architects) whilst focusing on the scheme objectives. Developed various design options, hosted a variety of liaison opportunities and carried out the necessary surveys. Successfully agreed a preferred option with all stakeholders.
