Scheme Objectives:
The creation of a high quality shared space adjacent to the main pedestrianised shopping streets. Encourage drivers to respect pedestrians.

Mayer Brown’s Role:

To work with Colin Davis and Associates for the provision of advice on appropriate surface finishes and to share experience on shared spaces in other centres.

To provide basic design layouts for the public realm and to consider, with the technical staff of the Borough, the most suitable, practicable and durable construction techniques.

Fulfill the objective of achieving a quality street scene and accentuate the distinctive features of existing important buildings.
