Primary AssetScheme Objectives:To provide modern medical facilities on a former Hospital site. The scheme involved redevelopment of the site to include state of the art medical facilities including provision for a mobile health port.
Mayer Brown’s Role:Mayer Brown was required to produce a site survey report and then a Transport Assessment in support of the site’s planning application. Work involved:
Review of on and off site parking;
Provide advice on parking quantity, layout and management;
Review of site accesses advising on improvements where appropriate;
Carry out a patient survey to gain insight into patient travel patterns;
Consultation with staff relating to requirements for the site;
Advice on appropriate access and egress for delivery vehicles and a health port vehicle.
