Grainger Trust PLC Scheme Objectives:Landowners Grainger Trust, together with the Guinness Trust Group and the Basingstoke and District Borough Council, are developing a housing scheme at Kempshott Park, Basingstoke.
There will be about 1000 houses with a mix of sale and rental properties together with 209 affordable homes.
The scheme also includes a local centre, doctors surgery, day nursery and woodland space.
Developers responsible for the building work include Wimpey Homes, Taylor Woodrow, Persimmon Homes, Barratt Homes and Kings Oak Homes.
Mayer Brown’s Role:
Mayer Brown provided advice to Grainger Trust on the layout and design of the highways within the development.
Mayer Brown were responsible for providing, analysing and assessing the traffic data and flows for the development.
The highway advice took into account alternative modes of transport linking Kempshott Park with Basingstoke and the surrounding towns and villages.
