Scheme Objectives:
A new housing development of 24 homes at Job’s Farm, Cove.

Mayer Brown’s Role
Mayer Brown carried out a detailed Transport Assessment (TA) and Sustainability Assessment (SA) for a proposed development of 24 residential dwellings. This followed the initial refusal of planning permission by the Local Planning Authority (LPA) on highway grounds. Following the preparation of the TA and SA, Mayer Brown appeared as expert witness at an S78 planning appeal, following which planning permission was granted. At the request of the LPA, Mayer Brown carried out the design of a proposed roundabout and a new site access. Mayer Brown also carried out a Safety Audit of the site and design proposals.
