Mayer Brown’s Role:
Our Client owned a substantial portion of land allocated for residential development and desired to maximise the number of houses that could be built. Access issues were the main restriction and we were instructed to advise on this issue. One access to the site was proposed through an existing residential area, involving the removal of two houses.
Mayer Brown used their expertise to undertake a detailed noise and traffic monitoring and modelling exercise to advise the client on the maximum number of properties which could be accessed via this route before unacceptable impacts on the existing residents were triggered.
