Bradford Centre Regeneration, the city’s urban regeneration company, have reviewed their land holdings with the objective of determining the development priorities for main and secondary sites. Their goal is to put together a development portfolio of commercially attractive development sites within the City Centre.
Information on Location, Commercial Attractiveness, Consistency with Bradford’s Development Frameworks, Accessibility and Masterplan considerations all formed part of the development appraisal which will assist the Investment and Delivery decision process.
Mayer Brown’s Role:
Mayer Brown, as part of a multi discipline team that included local architects and designers Chetwood Associates and Donaldsons Property Consultants, have reviewed over 60 sites in Bradford City
Centre.
This review has taken into account site accessibility, availability of parking, vehicular access, local public transport policy, planning guidelines and sustainability issues. From this review a short list of sites were established which were then subject to a financial appraisal to establish investment priorities.
