To provide a high level of professional advice and cost efficiency, by bringing in a senior transport consultant with the experience to assist the East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Strategic Development Control Unit (Highways) when necessary.
Mayer Brown’s Role:
Mayer Brown provide highways development control consultancy advice to the Council’s highways development control officers on an as-required basis. This service has been provided by current senior consultants of the Company since 1998.

A full range of services are provided ranging from advice on trip generation, auditing of Transport Assessments, attending joint meetings with developers and the Highways Agency, to public consultation and support for public inquiries.
