Emma Longhurst
Senior Air Quality ConsultantEmma is an experienced Senior Air Quality Consultant who has attained a BSc (Hons) and MSc from Royal Holloway University of London. Additionally, Emma is also an Associate Member the Institution of Environmental Science (IES) and Full Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management (MIAQM).
During her time in consultancy, Emma has worked in a wide variety of projects. These projects usually range from scientific research to technical reports to accompany planning applications, such as Air Quality Assessments, Atmospheric Dispersion Modelling, Pollution Monitoring and Environmental Statement (ES) chapters to accompany larger Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) applications.
As part of Emma's day-to-day, she engages with a range of clients across various sectors (private and public) and has contributed to the success of numerous schemes, ranging from small extensions to large scale major developments. Emma is a detail focused and very technically minded professional, currently a key player within the Air Quality department who pride themselves on giving their all to achieve the best possible outcome for their clients, whilst safeguarding the amenity/wellbeing of local sensitive receptors and future users.
