To provide highway consultancy support in relation to proposed student accomodation in Preston, Lancashire.
Mayer Brown’s Role:
Mayer Brown's North West Office completed a Transport Statement to support a planning application for the site. A car park survey of local residential steets was conducted to provide information for a possible residential parking scheme in the vicinity of the site. The Transport Statement included GIS reviews for accessibility and Auto track plots for larger vehicles access to the constrained site. A strong sustainable approach was required to successfully promote the scheme with limited on-site car parking. This approach maximised developable land for our client, ensuring a deliverable project.
