To provide a transport statement and travel plan to support a planning application for a proposed new main stand at Highbury Stadium, Fleetwood.
Mayer Brown’s Role:
Mayer Brown’s North West Office provided highway consultancy support to the development of Fleetwood football club’s new main stand.
Work included face to face interviews with supporters on a match day to gain trip patterns for attendees to the game.
The transport planning team at our North West Office provided design advice for the car park layout and provision of on site coach, steward and disabled parking. Promotion of cycle and motorcycle modes was also contained within the scheme design and travel plan. The travel plan considered both home and travelling supporters travel requirements in relation to a range of gate levels.
Autotrack vehicle swept path analysis was conducted to ensure appropriate coach and HGV access to the constrained site.
