The North West office of highway consultant Mayer Brown, have worked closely with Blackpool Borough Council’s highway officers to ensure smooth progress through the planning process on various sites located throughout Blackpool.
The developments represent contemporary thinking on low car dependency with controlled parking, coupled with the provision of a package of sustainable transport measures contained in site specific travel plans, to promote non car travel.
In addition, applications provide support to Blackpool’s Cycle Demonstration Town project, with on site cycle parking and improved cycle links incorporated into schemes.
The Blackpool work follows numerous hotel schemes in the north west for which Mayer Brown has provided transport planning support.
